Essential Question - Is Math Really Everywhere?

1. Come up with 3 good addition problems - Write them down and solve (be creative - Don't do something like - I have two leaves in one hand and one leaf in the other, how many do I have - be LOCATION SPECIFIC - like this. . .In five minutes, 12 cars passed on 30A. How many would pass in an hour if it is consistent?)

2. Come up with 3 subtraction problems - write and solve

3. Come up with 3 multiplication problems (be creative)

4. Come up with 3 division problems (make them fun)

All problems, results, and pictures if available will go on your math blog.

Sample Student Blog Entry:

3 squares a foot how much in 9 miles? 5280 ft a mile: 47,520 bricks in nine miles.
1 dot a cm how much in a mile? 160,934

IS EVERYTHING A MATH PROBLEM  AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

Today we measured the room. The walls the celeen and the floor. I had to do the floor.  But the answer was 675,374cm2.

Area is the painter.
Volume is the bricks.
